I claimed refugees in July 2019.I got married in Toronto on January 12, 2020.My wife came here with a sx-1 visa. As you know, this is a short stay visa, but it is a type of visa with multiple entry and exit. My court date is said to be April 28.How can my spouse stays here with me? What are the steps I need to follow or the documents I need to send.

She can apply for an extension of her visitor visa before it expires and specify that she is would like to remain with her husband while he waits for asylum hearing. You will have to show that you can support yourselves. You can update your case with your lawyer declaring that you are now married. Assume she was not also persecuted or else she can apply for asylum. She can be added to your PR application if you get approved as a protected person.

If she has not purchased private health insurance already she should purchase insurance so she has coverage for any health emergencies in Canada.
