How often are US citizens interviewed?

I am assuming that if you are married and document your relationship well, the chances are slim or at least I am hoping. Flying to New York woud be an inconvenience.

I am also wondering, what is considered to be "documenting your relationship well" mean exactly?

Pictures,trip proof ,tickets,letters from friends,phone alls,emails,etc etc.And they usually require an interview if they have any doubts.Or if there was a problem with the ap.You could be requested for an interview with no reason at all.I understand the trip to NewYork would be a inconvience but trust me they could care less.
