I am sponsoring my parents. The process was initiated a few years back. CIC has asked us to provide the updated forms and pay the fee.
According to the ducuments, I should pay:
for processing fee: 1X$75(sponsor) + 1X$475 (Principal applicant/my mother) + 1X$550(my father) = $1100
for Right of Permanent Residence Fee: 2X$490 = $980
so the total amount I need to pay should be $1100 + $980 = $2080
Checking into my old documents, I found that I had already paid CIC $1100 when I first time sent them the sponsoring forms, a few years back.
My question is could $1100 I paid in the beginning be considerred as a part of total payment? If yes, all I need to pay now will be the balance of $980.
The question also could be how much I need to pay all together during the whole process?
