How much time do they give you to have your medicals and PCC redone?

I dont know if they have a real limit but i wouldnt wait tooo long as your app is in limbo now till you supply this to them. And its a good sign because thats the last parts they check.

Well ours is an appeal and of course his meds and PCC have expired. We wanted to just go ahead and get them done but as far as we know they have not opened our file yet. I have talked to a lady in the MPs office and she is going to see whats going on. I was just wondering if they ask for a redo, which they will, if they give you a month or a time frame.

I recommend searching this because I have seen some posts that indicated they were given specific times to complete getting certain documents. Remember they are only good for 12 months so if you get them done too early (or before they request them) then you run the chance of them expiring again if the processing takes a super long time.

Yes thats my worry. I knew that the medical is good for a year but I have heard the PCC is only good for 3 or 6 months?

Yes if they request them they do give you time to do so.So i would wait till they ask cause like you say they have not even opened the file yet so if you go get them now and the poilce one expires again its a waste, but the medical is good for a year so you could get that one done if you like. But the police report wait till they tell you too.So you dont waste money here.

Yes, I dont want to be redoing a redo. The medical is not the worry, its the PCC, but its better to wait. Hopefully I will find out some good news this week. :)

but then again boyee lol if the pcc is not that expensive and you think they may ask you to come in before your 3 months is up?? But maybe wait till someone gives you an answer to what is going on with your app best of luck on the appeal all the best wishes we are all there with you in the room lol.

Thanks iarblue. It's great to have the support of people who are going through the same thing and have no problem understanding. My parents are a great support but they really cant understand the toll this takes.
It didnt cost anything the last time my husband did the PCC (india) It took about 3 days to get. Now he is living in a bigger city so just worry it will take longer. I am just too anxious to get this behind us and have a life and not one with a monitor between us.

I totally understand, but going through an appeal i just cant imagine i think i would just go crazy to get that process done and then you need to appeal...i feel for you and i hope your with your man soon.
