How much time does it take to get Passport stamped with Canada Tourist visa in USA?

I am a foreign national living in the USA, I have received the letter to send my passport as the Canadian embassy has made the decision on my tourist visa application. How much time do they take to send the passport back? I have another international travel planned after 20 days? Should I send the passport?. They have mentioned that they will refuse the visa if they don't get the passport within 30 days.
