how much money to bring ??

hello there, i wanted to know that about how much money do i need to take with me when i immigrate to canada? does it has to be as much as mentioned in proof of funds under FSW that is around $12k for single?? or any minimum number?? and how is it possibly better to take the money? draft or cash or... anything?

That is the minimum prescribed limit. There is no upper limit as long as you declare it. Cash always carries the risk of losing it. DD is safer.
