How much GPA is required to get student work permit?

My GPA is 2.33 an cleared all the subjects, but people are saying 2.5 GPA is required??

There is no GPA REQUIREMENT for the VISA.
Just get an admission and that's it.

My friend is at Concordia university, Montreal Quebec. He said a student should have cgpa of 3.0 to get work permit after 6 months of studies... It applies to Quebec region. I am not sure about other areas.

All the best for ur future ahead, Got to know that u got admission in masters program in MUN could you tell me how long did it require for the approval from uni after u submitted ur complete application. Have completed my application but not yet submitted, wondering should i be able to apply for spring or is it too late, if then i could go for fall but i want to apply as early it could be. Awaiting for ur response, plz share ur opinion and timeline...
