How much funds do I require to show in my acocunt when applying for a PR

I have been told if I am applying as a PNP, then I don not need to show $ 10,000 or more however it is recommended. I have close to $ 10,000 in my account. I am wondering if this might be a deterrent in the processing of my PR application. I will be applying for my PR next week so any suggestions as to what additional documents I need to submit. I am a Provincial Nominee to from the Maritime province. I have a stable job and of course no criminal record and am medically fit. Any responses on the funding part and anything else are welcome.
