Even though my application was successful, I regret now of using a lawer and paying 4k in addition to other little expenses
now I think I should have done it myself..its so simple and easy.!!

pls share your expenditure and make me feel better ;D

Man, you're regretting based on hindsight. It's money well-spent. You got your PR, it's worth the investment.
Besides, your case may not be plain vanilla that is better assisted by lawyer.

basicly if you are not provide your documents completely as CIC required...100 Lawyers also can not help you with CIC any more..
the main thing from you not lawyer

Do not regret about what has done. Alhamdulillah, you got your PR so it is worth paying to lawyer, people are willing to give up anything for PR. So, be thank full to God and happy what you achieved.

ya buddy..this is like a joke thread..trying to lighten up the mood here..I wasn't very serious..whats past is past...I cannot get m money back now ;D

If you paid it dont regret it as you wont get even a single penny back. My friend paid from 3k to 10k to get PR. One who paid 3k also got it and one who paid 10k also got it.

alright, I have been through a lot had almost fight with my employer because they were not giving me the reference letter. First they cut my hours from 40 to 28 but, somehow I convinced assistant manager so he gave me a letter and next week he quit and week after I got fired for lame excuses :-\

This is better than paying some Consultants that even "guarantees" visas, but all they do is arrange the documents for you. A lot of those in some countries.
In your case, you can seek legal counsel as needed and can give legal advice.

Is it possible to hire lawyer just for making reference letter, since I already have all other paperwork?

I need advice how to make that letter since my boss is the best and giving me a chance to do it by myself, and he'll just review it at the end.

How much would cost something like that, any idea? Or any good name in GTA?

Thanks

Not sure anyone can answer that as lawyers have different few structures and services. You will need to call offices and ask

Hello All ,
I am planning to do the PR filing all by myself seeking clarifications for doubts that I have from the members of this forum.
I cannot afford to hire a lawyer and I beleive my case is straightforward.
Was a student for 2 yrs . joined full time on June 2013 and still working with them.and all i need from the employer will be a reference letter (i already have paystubs and T4) and I have other regular documents(i beleive the employer letters are the tough ones to get)
I have also started looking at the application forms and have rough-filled them to keep them ready. I am trying to do my best to leave no stone unturned and hope everythign goes well.

Please advise me if it is ok for me to carry on with what i am doing .

thanks all

I paid $1200 for a decent consultant

No one NEEDS a lawyer to file their application for them. It takes some time, but it's really a matter of just gathering everything that is required and sending it in.

However, I certainly understand folks that just want peace of mind that someone professional is looking after their application. Each to their own, as they say.
