Basic Fees: 1040
All other documents photocopes ink, etc: 100
Medical: 160 (I think)
Photos: 40 dollars
State Police check: 10 dollars
Federal Police Check and Other Police Check required by Mexico City & only avaliable in Mexico City: $400 (flight, accomodations, etc)
Misc. $300

So yeah, I would say in the Ball park of the low-mid $2000's when this is all over!

I guess it's good that it's all spread out though eh? That might be easier to handle, I suppose! Silver lining!

haha, yes very true. This has been and will be over the course of 8-9 months so its deftinatly not as bad as paying it all upfront.

So far it's been $910.

$90 for police checks (we were gonna file the twice two times before, but my BF can't get his option C printout, so we gave up that route, and I have to get a third one for $30)
$10 for photos for Medical
$450 for Medical
$80 for gas to go get Med's done
$50 to get notarized letter from his mom (it was free in the US for my mom to do it at my bank down there)
$80 for printer and supplies
$150 for professional pics taken while on vacation earlier this year

No idea how much it's gonna cost for us to send our application off, but without including that and adding the $1040, we'll have spent at least $1950.

I see here you all added only all paperwork fees but let's not forget the trips each one of us payed to see his:her mate during the processing of your application....
If you are adding that you get over 10 000$.... :o :-\.

Well, you do anythig for your soul mate after all, like Parker said. having your husband/wife at your side is priceless!! :) ;)

for me approx. $2200.00 for app, med. & police (done) twice and another $2000.00 for lawyer and my wife lost her job in Jamaica june 2010 so now I'm supporting her and her child till now 25mos X$1000.00 and still payin

That's true. I guess I didn't factor in the cost of travel between Canada - USA for the 2 of us because I don't know how much we'll actually be able to travel back and forth once I graduate and have to work. :( He'll probably be able to drive down here some, but I'm assuming I won't have a whole lot of vacation days. The trip usually costs me about $800 dollars total incl. airfare, so I can't do it but every 4 months or so. (We switch out, but he drives so it's cheaper for him.)

Sooooooo much on trips!!! I stopped counting after awhile. Not to mention long distance. Calling Cuba is almost $1 a minute, I think I've spent about 10grand on phone calls alone >:( >:( >:( >:(
