How many quota left for 2017?

Some friends are gathering documents and would enter pool in March or April.

Any ideas on for how long the big draws would last and how many quota is left for 2017?

Plenty ;D , on a serious note they won't stop sending ITA's later in the year , would just reduce them later on with higher scores .

They worry that big draws at the beginning of 2017 would squeeze quota for the rest of the year and lead to high scores and small draws seen between May~ October 2016, which may reduce their chances of receiving ITA. Hope that everything would go smoothly.

The current draws are for the quota of economic immigrants (around 74k) and part of the PNP applicants (around 1/3 of 50k). You can count those 2 together, but then you have to divide that by app. 2,2 (average size of an applicant family). You will get number around 40k applications. Which is also amount of promissed ITAs for year 2017.
