Hey everyone :)

Just wondering how many photos everybody has included in their application. My bf and I aren't photo people, we only have around 25 pics to include from important events - holidays, family weddings, family reunions, graduation. We are applying common law so no wedding photos or anything, do we have enough?

The exact quantity is not as important as what is shown. 500 nondescript photos of you and your partner taken in a random photobooth would be less convincing than 5 taken at family events spread out over a considerable time-frame.

CIC is looking for evidence that the relationship is genuine and not just manufactured for immigration purposes. The most convincing evidence would be evidence of travel together and events where your met your partner's family and friends and vice versa.

Thanks for the quick reply.

We were thinking along those lines, but its reassuring to have someone else agree!

18 photos with maximized quality.

We didnt have many together either, but had some at family functions holidays etc showing myself and my partner with various family members, and in different parts of the world.

150 but it really depends of each situation. We had little time of relationship (a bit less than 1 year and half) and my husband is from a developping country so we felt the need to put more proofs.

If you are american-canadian couple, there is no need for that.

Well my husband and I do a lot of outdoor stuff so I included a rather large amount of photos (over 100, heh) including our wedding photos.

I would not worry as long as they show you all out doing things together, not just portraits.
