How many IMM 5406E forms needed?

Hi there,

My wife is a naturalized canadian citizen. She is going to sponsor me for PR. For IMM 5406E, it states that the principal applicant, their spouse and all dependent children 18 years of age or older must compete their own copy of this form.

My sons are all canadian citizens as well as my wife. Only I am applying for PR, do I still need separate forms for IMM 5406E for all of them?

If so, how am i supposed to type a form for my son when the "applicant" column would be me, and everything else would be pretty much verbatim similar?

Your Canadian children are not eligible to be sponsored or issued a visa or included as included as dependents in the spousal sponsorship applicayion........only you the PA and any non-Canadian children over 18 years need to complete IMM5406.......if only you the PA is not a Canadian citizen, you will need only one copy of IMM5406 for you the PA.

Your Canadian children should not be included in any of the forms except IMM5406......they can't be included as dependents in the application, but must be declared in IMM5406.
