I stared worked in canada from January 2020 to September 2020 in one place. And Now I’m cashier at grocery store. My question is how many hours i have to count I’m on study permit now but government gave permission to work full time for students between 1 may 2020 to 31 august 2020 so I worked 40/week. How many hours i have to count for that 4 months full time period. I want to apply under the pathway essential non-healthcare program.

You worked from January 2020 to September 2020 as a cashier. You count your number of hours worked. To be eligible you need one year experience and 1560 hours (30 hours per week). You can count full time hours for May to August.

My total hours is more then 1560 hours but if I count 30/per week then my total hours is 1460 hours so what I have to do if I submit my application with total hours then it will reject?
Please give me advice.

You can only count 30 hours per week…no more so you have 1460 hours. Just because you work over 30 hours a week, you can’t count the extra hours.
