Hi guys, I have a study permit with SIN number that are valid until end of October and I am about to start my co-op program in my study related field.
I finished my 6 months (26 weeks) of studies and now I am supposed to do my co-op program for another 26 weeks.
My college told me I am allowed to 40 hours per week with my SIN number but they were telling me that like they were just guessing that answer.
I'm really confused. Some websites say 20 hours and some say 40 hours. Also, a friend is in the same situation and works 40 hours per week. I am super confused.
I got a full-time job and I'm about to start tomorrow but I have the fear once they find out I can only work 20 hours per week they will kick me out on the first day.
Or am I able to work 40h? Thanks so much in advance..

Do you have a co-op work permit that lists your employer as the school? Is the job a mandatory part of your program and you need the co-op placement to graduate? If so, you can work full time, as many hours on your co-op work permit.
