Hi all
I just went through several pages of the search function and did not find a situation exactly like mine, so I figured I'd make a new thread.
I am a US citizen seeking PR through family class sponsorship. My wife (Canadian citizen) is sponsoring me.
On IMM 00008, Question 3 asks: "How any family members, including you, are in this application?"
My wife has two children (also Canadian citizens) who live with us but they are not my dependents nor do I have any legal custody over them (I have not adopted them as their birth father does not want to give up any rights; according to the divorce settlement, my wife has full custody).
My question is, would it be correct to write 1 (for just myself as I am the only non-Canadian on this application), 2 (for my wife and I) or 4 (for my wife, her children, and I) as an answer to Question 3?
Any help is much appreciated!
