I am a new Ph.D student from China. As an international student, I supposed to apply for the tuition exemption scholarship from the Chinese government for winter semester. But in this winter the application did not open as usual. Now I am facing a financial problem with foreign student
tuition fee. I want to de-register for this winter semester. I still have an chance to get another scholarship, but for next semester.
So the period after I de-register and before I register in summer semester, my status in Canada would be an problem. As for my situation, will I be expeled during this peroid? And do I need to apply an new study permit for summer semester?
