How many days before date of commencement I can enter in Canada ?

Hi,
I have student visa valid from 30/07/2012 -- 2013 ...... but date of commencement of course is 1 OCt, 2012 ...... I am planning to book ticket of 6 september means 24 days before start of course. Is it possible to go to Canada Before date of starting of course ??? Anyone have this type of experience plz help ......... Will there be any immigration problem ?????
I want to go there spend free time as relatives are there !!!!!!!

1. There is no restriction on entering Canada unlike US where you can't enter more than 1 month before the start of your classes.

2. As you are planning to enter Canada only 24 days before the commencement of your classes, there won't be any problem.

3. If the CBSA officials ask you for entering early (very unlikely) then you should state the reason that you have to spend some time with your family/relatives.

hi inam.... I think telling them about your relatives is not ok...just say that you've to find accommodation and all that...
