Hi all

I am in Canada on a PGWP and I applied for my TRV on Feb. 4th ... how long did it take for you to hear back from them? Let me know. Thanks.

How did you apply for your TRV. Did you send the application to Ottawa? what are the requirements?

Thanks. Yes it is saying they are now working on ones from Jan. 31st and mine was 4th Feb. so still a few days left. I applied for TRV online. All the requirements are there. I already had my PGWP so it was just a matter of proving that/sending a copy and showing why I need a TRV as I will be needing to travel in and out of the country.

Look at your online application, what date does it say in the column "Required by" of the documents required box? That's the date you should hear back from them.

Give yourself 4 weeks or more from the time you transmit your application to the time you have your passport in your hands.

That is exactly it. Four weeks from the date my application was transmitted I heard from them saying to submit my passport.

What was the date stated in the required column of your application after you submitted it?did you received the email for passport submission on the date stated in the required column after you transmitted your application?please do kindly check the 4th of feb completed application on your my cic to confirm this.It is going to go along way to help us know if they truely get back to applicants on the required date or not.
