how long would visa processing time take??

i have submitted my application for study permit for canada on 5th august.. how long does it take and when i shall get to know that my permit has been approved or rejected.???? my classes are starting from 7th september and also need to pack things..

It takes however long it takes. Anything from weeks to months.

Smart thing is to apply as soon as you were accepted by school.

yeah i know its not certain but i hope u can help me with approx time it takes for approval on an average like 15 days or 20???

Processing times vary by country, visa office, how flooded with applications they have, etc. An estimated processing time, regularly updated, can be found on cic website.

I applied on 28th June and still awaiting visa.
