How long will my visa be valid for

Hi everyone..i want to know about the validity of visa.like if i get visa then by what date i should enter in canada or when will my visa expire.like if i get my study visa in june 2011 and my classes are in january 2012.then can i enter canada in january 2012.will my study permit be valid till then or i will have some problem at port of entry...please help..i want to know about the time period in which one should enter canada after getting a visa..

bilal first of all chc people will never issue visa sooo early they will issue the visa 15 or 20 days prior of ur classes. and i guess i am not sure u will than have a validity of one month. the main visa will issue at the port
