Got the RPRF notice by e-mail for my wife and me on May 10, 2011. We are living and working in Vancouver on an annual work permit and are U.S. citizens. Through PNP and my employer, we moved through the PR process over about 14 months and thousands of dollars. We sent passports with RPR fees in on May 12, 2011, to Canadian Consulate in Manhattan, NY -- not Buffalo, which was interesting.

Anybody has recent stats to report on how long it takes for our passports to be returned with the visas? We were told we had 30 days to submit the passports so we sent them off real fast and now we have sumnmer travel that requires us to have our passports back!

Unless you know of some way to travel between US and Canada w/o a passprt and w/o Nexus/EDL?

Thanks!

Anxious to travel to sunlight,

PiC

It wont take much time to get your PP back ,may be one more week .So have your fingers crossed and enjoy with the test of waiting ...
GOOD LUCK

@Kanamen -- Thanks! I have scheduled business travel June 2 to go international and will keep fingers crossed. Will report overall timeline with BC/PNP, too, when complete. BEST, PiC

PiC, sorry to butt in, but could you tell me how long it took for BC to process your PNP application?
Thanks!
Darius

Indeed! We sent PNP applications to BC PNP in early Feb 2010. We got approval from BC PNP on July 28, 2010. So just about 6 months.

It took me about 25 days in total after my passports reaching them. BTW I used UPS return envelope. If you didn't add 15 days extra so 40 days w/o return envelope

Hi. physicsINcanada

Did you send your passport through courier or local mail?

Did you give them return envelop?

you should received your passport soon
