How long to receive Authorization to Work after applying through Webform?

Hi everyone,
I’m currently on a closed work permit and I submitted a new French LMIA-exempt work permit application from inside Canada on October 10.

At the same time, I also submitted an Authorization to Work request through the IRCC web form, and included the priority code “PPCHANGEWORK2020.”

It’s been a few weeks and I haven’t received any response yet.
Does anyone know how long it usually takes to get the authorization email in this situation?
Any recent experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

When does it expire? Are you changing employers? Could take weeks. As per the site...

well, it expires more than 10 months. actually my current employer set up a branch in another province, they want me to work there. it supposed to be 10-15 days, however, I waited more than 15 business days with no response. really frustrating, I don't know how to arrange my residential lease now.

So you have more than 10 months until expiry. IRCC may not expedite. Call them tomorrow and ask status.

I send message in web form again yesterday. I was wondering I’m just changing my employer, so it shouldn’t be related to my work permit expiry date, right?
