How long it takes to receive letter regarding photo correction

Hello all

I landed in the first week of Sept 10 but have not received the PR card yet. It is due to error in my photo. CIC has informed me that I will be getting a letter in this regard pretty soon.

How long it normally takes for CIC to send such type of letter?

Please share your experience.

I landed in end July 2010 and received letter for photo error in last week of October 2010
