How long it takes after you give the biometrics

Does canada student visa needs IELTS must?
And i have done my biometrics in Japan. Just wondering how long will it take to get the result after giving biometrics ? I am in a urgent situation.

Look at the paper application requirements for your country, biometrics is in the beginning of the process so look at the processing time for your country, if you are applying from a third country it might take longer.

Yes i am in third country , from japan. Japan process time is one week. But this is may not for me as you said if apply from third country.
Class will start soon. May be i have to submit new LOA for next session?
