Hello All,
One of my friend applied for CEC under Nurse category can anyone please tell me how long it take recently to get File Number Because she is Waiting from last 2.5 month to get File no.

ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED.

THANKS

Obviously no one can tell you how long it will take, but current applications are taking around 85-90 days to receive an Acknowledge of Receipt (AOR). The AOR will include her application number (she should already has a client ID).

If she has been waiting for 2.5 months (e.g. 75 days), then I would estimate she has another 10-15 days to wait.

I have taken this information from trackitt, where the most recent application to receive an AOR was filed 11 August 2014 (AOR granted 7 November 2014).

Whilst not perfect, I have found trackitt to be an excellent tool to understand where my applications (likely) sits in the queue and I would advise more people to use it, thereby improving the data quality.
