As the question says. I got an upfront medical done in September 2020, and got my study permit in early December. I am thinking of applying express entry in a few months and want to know if I can use this medical for it ?

Also is it advisable to apply express entry now or should I wait till I enter Canada ?

Medical is valid for 12 months. You will likely be asked to re-do the medical during the processing of your Express Entry application.

You can apply for Express Entry whenever you want to. It doesn't really matter.

I believe you do realise if once you enter the federal EE pool so early without the necessary NOCs it may end up counterproductive i.e penalties (minus points) if opting for PNPs in the future. Doing EE simultaneously along with a study permit pathway is not a smart thing to do. Federal EE is not designed to attract people beyond age 29.
