How long is a TRV visa valid for typically ?

My wife needs the visa soon to attend an event in Canada at the end of this month and today we sent her passport for visa stamping in US.

Was just wondering what the duration of the TRV visa would be ...

Depends on whether she is granted a single visa that will be for 6 months or multiple visa normally till few days before passport expiry
