Hi everyone, how long is a Ploice certificate currently (2017) Valid for?

I think generally for immigration purposes, they are not valid after 1 year. I am also interested in this as my partner's PCC from his home country is expiring next month, however, they have not asked for a new one. I am secretly hoping they haven't asked for one yet because they are going to finish processing our app and issue his coPR before expiry, but more realistically that they are just not being very diligent in working on our file and haven't even figured out that they need to send us a request to have a new one done.
