HOW LONG In CANADA AFTER STUDY PERMIT EXPIRES?!

Does anyone know how long a student can remain in Canada after their study permit has expired? In this case the student hasn't yet applied for a renewal. How long do they have after the permit expires to renew it? OR do they just have to leave the country without a grace period?

you would have 90 days to restore study permit or apply for PGWP after study permit expired.

if you do not plan to renew study permit or apply for change of status, you become illegal status.
