How long it takes for back ground check to be completed, please any one knows or have experience and especially for damascus office / family sponsorship, please can you share your experience, thank you

depends how many countries ur spouse and u travelled or lived in.
but damuscas i hear is very fast. all iranian peoples go process their application there

my lawyer mentioned this may take for another three months but may be before so I am not sure

kamal, unfortunately there is no set timeframe for background checks. Essentially they take as long as it takes to gather the information that they need. But most applications processed through Damascus are completed in 8 months or less for the entire application processing (from the time the application was received until the time it is approved). yes you are right most case are done within 8 months from the date of In process starts but again there is no info on how many months background check will take. thanks

The 8 months includes the time for the background check.
