How long does it takes to receive AOR after Federal application

My timeline:
PR Application delivered: 6th dec 2019
No news until now

Hi, did you apply from QC? Can you tell me what will happen after sending the pr application?I have to wait until they send me an application number?

I applied from outside QC and Canada. After applying, they sent email to say they received your application.

Congratulations on getting your CSQ. AOR can take 1-3 months depending on the traffic of applications received at CIO during that period.

Sharing my timeline:
CSQ received: Oct-2019
PR application: Dec-2019
Biometrics request: Jan-2020
Biometrics done: Feb-2020
AOR: Feb-2020

I am surprising at your timelines...Many of my friends not received AOR even 8 months after CSQ based PR application submission.
You sent PR application in Dec 2019 and you got Biometric request in Jan 2020..It is just matter of 1 month.

mine story almost same also.
Federal application submit in January 19, AOR received in March 19, biometric request in April 19, then till now waiting.........

Did you got AOR to your mail id?

We got CSQ in Oct-19 and it took almost 3 months to send in PR application due to agent miscommunication. Anyway, we sent in the application at the very beginning of Jan-20 and in the online system, it shows the AOR was 10-Jan-2020. I think we did our biometrics sometime in Jan-2020 or early Feb-2020.
Yes, I think the biometrics request was quite prompt in our case.

Is AOR same as Temporary application number ? One of my friend received Temporary application number within 2 weeks of submitting the QSW application and she wanted to understand if AOR is same as the initial acknowledgment which contains temporary application number
