I couldn't find a solid answer to this question, but basically I'm very confused over the processing time stated on the CIC website. I just submitted my PR application today online after receiving an ITA a month ago, and the message on my PR application told me to check http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/ for information on processing time for the application. All I can see though is the processing time for new PR cards. What does this time represent? Is it the time to process my PR application and send me my CoPR, or is it the time taken to receive the actual PR card AFTER I've landed in Canada after receiving my CoPR? If it's the latter, does it really take six months receive the CoPR, and if not, then how long?

Thanks.

The PR card processing time is AFTER you have landed in Canada and become a PR. Nothing to do with the COPR.

Assume COPR is 6+ months. Some people have completed the process in six months - but many here have waited longer.

Thanks. IEC is opening soon and I'm eligible to apply for a working holiday, do you (or anyone else) know if am I allowed to accept an invitation for that with an ongoing PR application?
