How long does it take for TRV processing In Seattle office

Hi
I am a student In Canada
I applied for my TRV on 22 November, 2011 and I sent my documents by fedex from Canada and my documents were received in Seattle consulate on November 23, 2011.
It's been a month and I haven't received any response yet . How long is it taking to get the TRV and what is the processing time now days??
How long do I have to wait ??? ??? :'(

i applied my study permit from NYC consulate on NOV 10TH and still not response i need it by jan 9th as the class starts.

I received an Email from the Seattle Consulate telling me that my application has been processed and was mailed to me by USPS which has no tracking number. They have sent my passport by USPS when I had sent fedex prepaid envelope along with the application.. urghh
I haven't received my passport still and now there is Christmas coming nd the holidays

My classes too begin from January 9

hi devie24, i'm planning to apply for study permit. ..when did send the file and when did u receive your passport finally?......it seems like they prefer USPS....i'l include USPS prepaid envelope.....have u submitted police clearance?
