How long does it take for paper based pr application

Hi all,

I have been nominated by ontario under international student category. I want to know how long does the process take after submission of docs to cic ?

P.S. This has nothing to do with express entry.

Right now for inland applicants takes around 16 months. Nov and Dec 2015 inland applicants have not received medical request yet. So it's a long process.

Hmm that's really so slow. It took around 1.5 yrs to get nomination and now 1.5yrs more for final stage. All we get is 3 year pgwp this is really not fair.

You can apply bridging work permit once you received AOR and your work permit is going to expire in 4 months.
