How long does it take for CIC to send acknowledgment letter, after submitting the spouse sponsorship

My wife submitted our family class sponsorship application for outlander in January 2018. I just want to know how long does It take to get acknowledgment letter from CIC, from the date our application was delivered to Mississauga. I’ll really appreciate get an answer from anyone about this information

People who had their applications signed for on and around December 14th 2017 are just getting AOR1 this week. I would say it will be about 6 weeks from when your application was signed for at CIC.

May be wrong but think the average to get an acknowledgement of receipt is approx 6-8 weeks

We sent the applications on December 30, 2017 from a post office. We checked the tracking number and they received it on January 5th, 2018. We haven’t gotten any messages from CIC yet. We are wondering when they will give us any notice.

Others have said 6 to 8 weeks i hope you’ve heard from them by now!

I sent my application on dec 7th 2017 and i got a confirmation that it was received and to create an online account 1st feb 2018, then 20th february i was told to send the schedule A background paper and the police report. After i sent both those immediately on 25th february 2018 i was told to go do my medicals , again i did that immediately and on march 20th 2018 i was told my application was sent to the london office, ever since until today i have not heard anything from CIC.
