My husband and I applied outlanding sponsorship in early March, and we received our AOR1 on April 5th, my husband didnt manage to fill tax of 2013 when we filled our application, so we wrote an explaination letter for option C instead, and he was on social welfare for 3 month from 2013 Nov until Jan 2014. I'm wondering whether anyone in the forum knows how long does it take for CIC to make a decision based on our situation. I can imagine background check like taxation and social welfare part take some time....and I'm wondering is there anyone we can reach out to inquire the case, apart from CIC call center? Welcome any information.
Thank you guys!

If your spouse was on welfare for 3 months just before applying for sponsorship, he is likely going to be denied. You might some how manage to get lucky and squeak by, but if I were you, I would not count on it.

To answer your original question. Sponsorship decisions are usually made within 30 days of AOR. You have a few weeks left yet to wait for a response.
