My application was received by CIC on June 12th, but I realize now that it will probably be returned, since the money order I had included in my application was voided (I had no idea about this but apparently Canada post voids money orders if you try to verify them more than 3 times on the phone). Today I sent CIC a new fee payment form with my credit card info with Express Post, explaining the situation in a letter. I'm wondering if you guys know how long it takes them to send back an application? Do you think they will open my letter with the new form in time and charge my credit card instead of sending the whole application back to me? I really hope so as I don't want to lose more time... MY PGWP expires May 2013 and I was hoping too become a permanent resident before then...

They usually process your payment within 3 weeks (based on the last couple of months) of receiving the application.

On the positive side, if they return your application before you receive your AOR, then you don't lose the application fee.

I received my returned application package exactly a month after i sent the application to CIC because I had left out one piece of info in the forms. So, had to fill in the blank and resend the application.

If your application is returned, so is the original payment. So when you resubmit, you also resubmit the original payment.

hi

will CIO consider the validity of documents such as IELTS score in the resubmission of whole package.

I believe my application will be returned for some error in one of the forms. However, My IELTS score was still valid in that time but at the time of my resubmission , it will be expired.

Any advise???

as long as its not expired at the time you resubmit it and be sure the seal of the envelop is not broken by cio , not sure if they do it or cpp
