How Long Does it Take CIC to Reopen A Rejected PR Application?

Good day all. A friend of mine not on this forum had her PR application rejected a few months ago but upon writing to CIC, Ottawa last week and explaining to them certain things, they reviewed her application again and found it meets the requirements of a complete application. They sent her a message on her "MY CIC" on March 10 and said they would reopen the application but till now they haven't. How long would it take to have a cancelled application reopened? Does she need to send a reminder email to them and when? Could they have forgotten their promise ? Pls help

CIC doesn't move that quickly. Expecting the application status to change in a week is a bit unrealistic. Give it a month.

Did they reopened your friend's case? What was the reason of rejection ? How your friend convinced the authorities to reopen the case.
