How long does it take after the approval?? Sponsoring dependent child!

Hey everyone.
I am approved as a sponsor now i want to know how long does it take after the approval ? Since its a straight forward case so how long does it usually takes for the minor sponsorship? Any experiences please share. My visa office is Islamabad, Pakistan. What is the approx time limit? Nowadays its showings 24 months. Is it the same with the dependent child as well??

if ur child is under 16 then they process it bit quick.. but this is for only minor kids

No I'm Canadian citizen living outside Canada. And since she's born outside Canada so I have to sponsor her I jus wanna the time span islamabad embassy usually take after your sponsorship is approves

if ur canadian citizen then ur daughter is also canadian citizen born abroad apply for her citizenship certificate and then canadian passport at islamabd or u can also get temproy passport as well ,, search about canadian citizen born abroad

Unless you are a Canadian citizen born abroad as well. Citizenship outside of Canada only extends to one generation.

thats right she is 2nd generation thats y i have to sponser her. Thats why Im asking about the processing time after approval!

Islamabad is showing 26 months. If you put forth a complete, detailed application it could be faster. You can check the status of the application as well. I would expect a child to be on the shorter end of processing but that's up to the VO.

Are you planning on returning to Canada with her?

Yeah I'm planning to to back and I'm approved as well. Now waiting for visa office to process her file. Hope it won't take long.
