Im hearing a lot of conflicting stories about BOWP.

If you have your BOWP, does it last for one year, or does it last until you get approval/rejection?

Eg if your get BOWP Iin July 2015 and your PR application is rejected in November 2015, can i stay working in Canada until July 2016?

When your BOWP application is approved, you are provided with a work permit that is valid for 12 months.

You can apply for multiple BOWPs while your PR application is in process, so you can continue to work until the approval provided you apply for BOWPs at the correct times (with less than 4 months remaining on your existing permit).

I heard somebody only got 6-month BOWP.

Joolery, do you have a link to that statement on CIC's site?
