how long does application stay valid?

Hello mightys,

My application was received on May 2012, (22months ago) and still in process due to finger print letter got lost in mail and medical exam expired and require for new report. I called call centre for a resend letter last week, now my concern is will my application for sponsorship expire and needs to file a new one. My wife's visa is also expired?

The application itself won't expire. The medical can expire, as you know; PCCs can also expire.

Your wife should have extended her status. What was her status and when did it expire?

Thank you canuck in uk! I should've extended her visa. She first came as a visa student and have been well stayed in Canada for 4 years until we met.

As for her temperary permit, it might have been expired for over 12 months.
