How long does an OWP stay in "reviewing eligibility"?

How long does the OWP status stay at this stage before (hopefully) approval?

I sure hope so. I know of another member stuck at this status for almost a week but I know most people had same-day approval.

Update: must have been almost 24 hours. I checked same time next day and saw it was approved! No email yet but that's usually the day after

Yeah, for some it can take slightly longer, but like I said, usually it's by the next day at the latest. Mine was approved within a few hours of eligibility check, then the email came the next day. Physical copy of the permit came a few days later.
