Hi,
I am Canadian PR. My PR card is still valid till 2027.
Can I stay outside of Canada for more than six months? One of my friends told me I can't stay for more than six months. Please suggest. Thank you.

You should have stayed in Canada for 730 days in the past five years to maintain residency obligation. You can stay up to 3 years outside of Canada within last 5 years.

There is no six month rule. That's a myth.
