How long do i need to be in canada to keep my pr?

Hello,
I landed in canada on 10th sept 2018. i moved back to my home country on 27th march 2019. When do i need to return to canada to retain my pr status? They say i can live in my home country for two years before moving back.
Can you kindly enlighten me on this.

730 days in a rolling 5 years. I am sure you can do the maths based on your actual dates.

FRom 10 sept 2018 through 09 Sept 2023 you need to spend a minimum of 2 years in Canada. From 10 Sept 2023 every time you leave Canada you need to show 2 years in Canada in the 5 years preceeding each new entry back into the country.

So in theory a new immigrant can spend near 3 years out of the country in initial 5 years from landing but then needs to be aware of the rolling 5 year rule should they leave after the initial 5 years from landing.
