My case had RQ and reviewed at St Clair office. Now the case has been approved and moved to Mississauga office. It appears that Mississauga office is really taking its time to arrange oath ceremony for those who had RQ.

Anyone had such experience in Mississauga? How long does it take to arrange oath ceremony in Mississauga for RQ case?

Application received March 2012
In process November 2012
RQ in Jan 2013
May 2014 test at St Clair
Jan 2015 approved
Feb 2015 case moved to Mississauga for oath ceremony

Hey I'm in the same boat as you. My file got transferred to Mississauga a couple of weeks ago from St. Clair and I am on the waiting list to be scheduled for the oath.

I really hope we don't have to wait much longer.

You are not getting your oath letter.

It is DONE once you got it.

I believe the best chance is to consult an immigration lawyer and see the next step.

CIC agent today said it could take up to 3 months.
As someone who applied in December 2010 I think it's safe to say I'm sick to my stomach of waiting!!

CIC agent or regular call centre clerk.... there is a difference between the two.

Two months now after my files were transferred to Mississauga. CIC asked me to call back at end of April, that's like files are sitting 3 months at Mississauga!

Hi Janoo,

My file was assigned to some officer in June after my exam in May 2014. Then it was approved in Jan 2015, and was transferred to Mississauga in Feb, almost 2 months have passed..

I called CIC today again, first call freaked me out. The girl said for security reason she must not open my file because she was not sure I was the right person. I kept on telling her please check my client ID, she refused, and said she must hang up. Second call went through, I was told that I just have to patiently wait in the que.

Sure Janoo, good luck on your case! Usually the officer would approve then pass it to judge. Within two weeks the file would be transferred to local office.

6-8 months are normal. However I got the feeling that they are also trying to complete the case within 36month timeframe. Once it is approved, it is not under measurement any more, it could take another 3-4 months before ceremony.
