How long after AIP is granted and background checks are submitted?

Does anybody know how long will take to get the landing interview after AIP is granted and background checks are submitted?

We sent the police certificate the first week of May. According to the letter we received that was the only requirement missing. The wait is killing me. I haven't see my parents in a loooooong time!!! :'(

There is no certain time. Depends on your particular file and also the local office you are going through.
However, the average time is listed as 9 months from the time you get AIP until PR.

P.S. Also usually if you are requested any documents, it adds a 90 day wait on your file from the time they requested it until they work on your file again. Order FOSS notes if you want to know what work is being done right now on your file.

And the local office is Scarborough. I have heard is one of theslowest in Canada. Oh well, nothin but to wait.

Well I would fax off the request so it gets to them fast. Hopefully they can for the time being, mail it with another company so you get it soon. I don't think Scarborough is too long after AIP. I know they are for being transferred with AIP but after that step they seem to be quite average especially for a busier office. Thank you for the congratulations. Hope to hear you getting PR soon.
