The problem that I am having right now is that I plan on taking a "break" this winter semester. I am essentially dropping all courses. Would I get a letter soon stating that I have to leave Canada? Or is this an over exaggeration? I hear different things from people, but I just wanted to make sure.

Well first the school will contact CIC and they'll issue a email or letter saying they received notice from your school informing them that you've dropped out and that they'll have to revoke your study permit and that you're given some number of days to leave....

that's what I think.....

I am thinking of just quitting uni, and going into a trade school, or apply through IBEW. I am wondering if this option is open to international students under a study permit. It seems like the best choice, considering the situation I am in. Also how do the fees compare to domestic students? Hopefully, it isn't insane like uni.
