It's a lower ranked university in terms of reputation with employers.

It really dosent matter how the university is ranked its more important what you can do with the MBA.

I disagree. Someone with an MBA from Rotman or Queen's will have an easier time being hired than someone with an MBA from TRU.

I disagree if you have connections/ good network or intelligent regardless of which school you graduate from you stand a far better job of being hired. After all its not what you know its really who you know. Check out the links below:

I agree that the reputation of a school matters when it comes to MBA and most degrees. I am Canadian and have gone through the university system and had never heard of TRU. There is no shortage of MBA grads. Employers will look for the more well known large institutions in every province. There are probably 5 MBA programs in Canada that are considered the most elite and desirable. Those programs also provide you with the best networking opportunities.

Yep - I agree with you. I hire MBAs all of the time. School definitely makes a huge difference. Anyone who says otherwise is out of touch with reality.
