Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I know that they consider full-time work as 30 hours/week. So if I worked 40 hours/week for 1 year, would that count as 1 year or 1 year and 4 months?
What about part-time? (for example, 15 hours/week is considered part-time, but what if i worked 20 hours/week?)

I asked about a similar question on here before, and I work 44hours/week.

In you case, they only count you as 1 year of experience. In fact, as long as the hours of work of an applicant is over 30hours/week, and have worked continuously for 12 months, then they would count as one year.

It doesn't matter if an applicant has insanely worked for 90hours/week for a year. They wouldn't count it as worked for 3 years.

Aw, I wish they would count it proportionally.
Anyway, thank you for your reply!

That is simply one year of full-time work. Full-time is defined as "at least 30 hours per week," with 52 weeks= 1year.

What about part-time? (for example, 15 hours/week is considered part-time, but what if i worked 20 hours/week?)

Fewer than 30 hours per week is part-time. For part-time work, you CAN add it up, divide by 30, and get the "full-time equivalent." At 15 hours per week, it will take 104 wees to gain the equivalence of 1 year of full-time work; at 20 hours per week, it will take 78 weeks... etc...

Jumping on this thread..

What if I worked at a company for 22 months (2 months shy of 2 years) and immediately switched to a similar occupation with no gaps? Would I still be considered only 1 year work experience?
